Happy Birthday!

It’s little Miss J’s birthday. She is spunky and curious. She wants to figure out how things work. She loves the outdoors, helping dad with gardening, and going for bike rides. She likes to crack eggs for breakfast and help mix up good things to eat. Tomatoes might be her favorite food. Thanks to PBS’s Super Why, she knows the entire alphabet, letters and sounds. Her favorite spot at Disneyland is Radiator Springs and Cars, although her favorite ride is the stroller while blowing bubbles. Jayme loves people. Everywhere we go, she greets everyone. Jayme is very confident and lives life at full strength. Without a doubt, this girl will change the world. She has already changed ours.

If you would like to know more about fostering our granddaughters and Jayme’s adoption story head over and read Our Full Life Much Fuller, When Life Overflows, Whose Crazy Idea Was This, and Tender Mercies. It’s been an interesting adventure that can only be described as overwhelming at times, exhausting most days, and beautiful beyond words every single moment. Only God could have designed such a life and we are oh, so glad we accepted the invitation to be part of it.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

Always a special treat when I get the opportunity to think about you three. Even though I pray each day for all y’all, seeing that scrunched up little face never fails to bring a smile. God’s blessings little one!
